ALAN PERILLO | Holiday 2018

Alan's time here is winding down, with this being his second to last pottery sale with us.  Hard to believe that we are already closing in on two years.  Alan is really starting to articulate his voice in his pots, showing attention to detail in the form and function of each piece.

I believe that the kiln gods granted us a gift, a consolation, for what happened last firing with the shelves collapsing and shattering all our plates during the loading.  This firing we have, I believe, the most beautiful plates to date.
This is a really fun time of year.  We enjoy the fall colors, jumping in leaf piles, and bundling up in our warmest sweaters to go play outside.  Our kids have a countdown to Christmas starting at Halloween and ask us daily how many more days until Santa arrives.  To see this time of year, of giving and receiving of gifts and of gratitude, through their eyes brings a whole lot of wonder and joy back into our adult lives.  We hope that you continue to find the magic of the season and share it whole-heartedly with others.
