I'm Joseph and I have been blessed to be able to make a living creating art.  I focus my time on ceramics, making functional and sculptural pieces using local materials that are wood fired to 2,400 F in my backyard kiln.  I've also been known to dabble in woodworking, gardening, and landscape design.

Together, with my wife, Amanda, we've made Joseph Sand Pottery into a full-time business focusing on creating beautiful ceramic pieces in the southern tradition that we hope will easily become a family heirloom.
